RB Guardian

The RB Guardian is a component designed to be compatible with most types of oxygen sensor. It can be connected into most rebreathers and is a true Primary HUD designed to be used instead of pp02 gauges for normal operating modes.

Option one:
Buddy Light

Cable with LED termination. This cable connects into the HUD and displays on a single Bicolour LED the pp02 signals from sensor one.

The LED can be mounted on a point on the diver's equipment from where it is easy for other divers to see that they are breathing a safe gas from some distance.

Option two:
Decompression computer oxygen sensor connection

With the provision of a cable and an additional port on the unit, a buffered sensor-one signal is output via a range of connector options suitable for most decompression computers with oxygen sensor inputs. This supports realtime decompression calculations based on actual pp02.

Option three:
Extended Depth

An extended depth range version of RB Guardian is available. This is specified to a maximum depth of 160m.

If you're as serious about your rebreather diving as I am, this HUD is a must."

Display mount

Display mount

The Display Mount is not a standard part of the RB Guardian but can be ordered as an option. Please confirm its compatibility with your proposed mounting position.

Heads-up!

The RB Guardian display consists of six LEDs mounted in a clear, waterproof resin. It should be mounted so is in the diver's peripheral vision. This means it can be seen at all times and will attract the diver's attention to any change of state without the need to actually look directly at it. This way, the diver can forget about their pp02 unless the RB Guardian indicates a problem.
